Hi, I’m Caitlyn

I’m a Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, Navy veteran, and passionate advocate for the healing power of sacred plant medicine. Since 2023, I’ve been honored to walk alongside individuals as they step into deep, transformative journeys with psilocybin—held with care, intention, and deep respect.

My work is rooted in creating safe, grounded spaces where people can explore their inner landscapes, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover what it means to heal—not just temporarily, but in a way that feels meaningful and lasting. I see this medicine not as a quick fix, but as a profound tool for reconnection and remembering.

I bring my lived experience into this work. After facing my own mental health challenges post-military service, it was psilocybin that helped me find a sense of peace and purpose I hadn’t known was possible. That experience fuels my commitment to supporting others through their own healing.

In addition to one-on-one facilitation, I’m deeply involved with the Heroic Hearts Project, leading domestic retreats for veterans with PTSD. I also offer preparation and integration support, mindful movement practices, and a range of resources to help clients feel supported before, during, and after their journey. It’s a true privilege to witness the strength and vulnerability that emerges in these spaces.

At the heart of my work is reverence for the medicine, the people I serve, and for the Indigenous cultures and traditions that have held this wisdom for generations. I approach this path with humility and respect, acknowledging that we are walking in the footsteps of those who have passed down the sacredness of these experiences.

If you're seeking more than surface-level change—if you’re ready to step into a healing process that honors your story, your strength, and your soul—I’m here to walk with you. You don’t have to do it alone.

Let’s begin, together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at introspect.oregon@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Psilocybin is generally acknowledged as safe when administered in a controlled and supportive environment under the guidance of trained professionals. However, it may not be suitable for everyone, and there are associated risks, such as psychological discomfort and potential adverse reactions.

Psilocybin facilitation involves creating a safe, supportive, and intentional space for individuals to explore the transformative potential of psilocybin in a guided and responsible manner to promote healing, personal growth, spiritual exploration, or other transformative purposes.

It emphasizes the importance of preparation, setting, dosage and integration to optimize the potential benefits and minimize risks associated with the experience.

Working with a facilitator could be the key to unlocking profound insights and personal growth. Unlike traditional therapy, psilocybin facilitation offers a more holistic and experiential approach, guided by individuals who specialize in creating safe and supportive environments for your journey.

Facilitators can help you navigate the depths of your psyche, offering non-judgmental support and non-directive guidance every step of the way. Working with a Psilocybin Facilitator enables you to embrace a transformative journey that goes beyond traditional therapy, empowering you to delve into uncharted realms of self-awareness, healing, and spiritual growth.

  • Preparation:

Before the psilocybin session, the facilitator works closely with the client to prepare them mentally, emotionally, and physically for the experience. This may involve discussing intentions, setting expectations, addressing any concerns or fears, and providing guidance on preparation practices such as meditation, breathwork, or journaling. (Virtual)

  • Administration:

The client ingests a carefully measured dose of psilocybin, often in the form of dried mushrooms or a psilocybin-containing preparation such as tea or capsules. Administration MUST take place in Oregon. Throughout the psilocybin session, the facilitator provides emotional support, non-directive guidance, and reassurance to the participant. They may use soothing language and gentle touch to help the participant feel safe, relaxed, and grounded during the experience. The facilitator encourages clients to surrender to the experience, explore their inner landscape, and embrace whatever thoughts, emotions, or sensations arise.

  • Integration:

After the effects of psilocybin have subsided, the facilitator guides the participant through a process of integration, helping them make sense of and integrate the insights, emotions, and experiences gained during the session into their daily life. This may involve reflection, discussion, journaling, creative expression, or other integration practices aimed at fostering personal growth, self-awareness, and positive change. (Virtual)

Individuals aged 21 years or older without any contraindications, who are open to traveling to Oregon, where psilocybin use is legal, qualify for psilocybin facilitation services.

While preparation and integration sessions can be conducted virtually, the administration of psilocybin must occur within the state of Oregon.

Unfortunately, psilocybin use is not for everyone. Contraindications include:

  • Personal or familial history of psychosis
  • Taking Lithium, which can lead to seizures or fatal outcomes due to interactions.
  • Individuals with thoughts of causing harm to themselves or others.

Though not a contraindication, some interactions have been observed between MAOIs / SSRIs that could potentially diminish psilocybin's effectiveness and possibly increase the risk of Serotonin Syndrome.
